So i’ve noticed very much over the last couple years there is a rising trend to end weddings around 10 or 1030 pm…. i’ve even had one a couple weeks ago that was a 4 hr event that went till 9pm after starting at 5pm… wild right… but I loved it!!!!
My guess as to why this is happening is this…. Its tough to be in the same spot for 8 hrs no matter how awesome it is…. Facts. Everyone is thinking it… I’m just saying it. Outside of Cedar Point Americas Roller Coast, shout out OH-10 and our legit amazing spots!!! I digress…..Outside of an amusement park or something of that nature its hard to keep anyone ones attention that long. Just the facts of life in the modern world, just like shorts have taken over our attention span so have shorter events. Throw a banger… on to the next… and Honestly… I don’t hate it.
Listen I love long drawn out party’s at heart. I come from a large family and thats just how we roll…. simple tasks at a family event that should take min are extended into hr long debates on proper procedure. I also understand the appeal of efficiency and getting to the point and on the the next thing. I think its all down to preference, just plan the party you want and don’t let anyone tell you differently!!!
